1. By accepting a quote and/or tendering a shipment for transportation, Customer, for itself and all other parties at any time having an interest in the goods, agrees to the Terms and Conditions found at https://www.shipmercury.com/terms-conditions, which no agent or employee of the parties may alter. No employee or agent of Mercury is authorized to change, modify or waive any of these Terms and Conditions without the written consent of an authorized executive of Mercury.

  2. Mercury and its carrier’s liability for cargo loss or damage is limited. Additional information can be found in our Terms and Conditions located at https://www.shipmercury.com/terms-conditions. Mercury offers insurance through an independent insurance company and can be requested by noting the value in the insurance coverage field. Not all commodities can be insured. Items like glass, artwork, jewelry, securities, and other negotiable papers and used goods need preapproval. Please reach out to Mercury to find out if your commodity can be insured. If your commodity is excluded and cannot be insured, you may declare a value in the field provided which will provide coverage above the carrier's limited liability. The terms of coverage are available on request. In all cases, coverage is only offered if the goods are shipped in approved packaging. Mercury offers a range of packaging options. Quotes for packaging are available on request. There is a $1,000.00 deductible for each and every loss. Computers and computer equipment are subject to a 10% deductible of the insured value subject to a minimum of $1,000.00. Maximum insurance for temperature sensitive shipments is $75,000.00.

  3. International Shipments Only; The USPPI authorizes Mercury Business Services Inc. to act as a Forwarding Agent for export control census reporting, Customs purposes, and to prepare and submit the Electronic Export Information into the Automated Export System. In accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) air cargo regulations; the above named USPPI authorizes Mercury Business Services, Inc. and its carriers to screen cargo that will be tendered under this SLI. In addition, we hold Mercury Business Services LLC blameless for loss, damage or delay due to opening any cargo, resulting physical inspection, repackaging or any impact on transit time associated with this screening. We understand that Mercury Business Services Inc. is prohibited by law to tender cargo on any aircraft without this consent.

  4. International Shipments Only; I certify that the statements made and all information contained herein are true and correct. I understand that civil and criminal penalties, including forfeiture and sale, may be imposed for making false and fraudulent statements herein, failing to provide the requested information, or for violation of U.S. laws on exportation (13 U.S.C. Sec. 305: 22 U.S.C. Sec. 401, 18 U.S.C. Sec 1001, 50 U.S.C. app. 2410).
