"During the summer of 2023, I partook in a marketing internship at Mercury. 

As an incoming junior at Maine Maritime Academy studying International Business and Logistics, I have completed several courses revolving around business, accounting, and economics. When I started my first marketing course during the fall semester of my sophomore year, I was immediately intrigued. 

I found marketing as a puzzle, where it consisted of figuring out a successful way to market a product to the consumer that will tempt them to purchase it, or finding two puzzle pieces that fit, so to speak. 

I enjoy learning new subjects and was able to do just that while at Mercury, expanding my knowledge about the marketing and utilizing tools to find potential clients that would be interested in our services."
